Drago’s list is built on research and facts, but in the end it is my opinion based on these facts.

Individuals to Avoid

New Steven Nardizzi - WWP CEO - Life is Good on Donors's Dime

Fake Navy SEAL Wife, Fake Gold Star

In my opinion this CEO of Wounded Warrior Project and any organization he is involved with, should be avoided. In my opinion he is a disgrace to our Great Nation.

New Benjamin Smith - Former Navy SEAL Without Combat Action Ribbon

In my opinion this individual, and any organization he is involved with, should be avoided. He does not speak for our community, and he was formally removed from Special Operations Speaks organization.

New Heather Anne Smith - Fake Gold Star, Fake Navy SEAL Wife, Fake mother of soldier KIA

Fake Navy SEAL Wife, Fake Gold Star

2015 is fast coming to a close and we have learned that professional parasites are constantly lurking … but not always just in the shadows. Please continue to share this vital information that will help protect others from the horrible scams that are being perpetrated on our Military members and their families’ day in and day out. The worst are the ones who target our Gold Star families, and then there is an entire new level of hell to be paid for those pretending to be Gold Stars. Stolen Valor of the worst order.

This is not a new discussion, and as a reminder… Gold Star is not an arbitrary status that anyone can bestow upon themselves or be dubbed as such others for random reasons. The title of Gold Star is defined clearly by Congress at this link:
http://uscode.house.gov/view.xhtml?req=(granuleid:USC-prelim-title10-section1126)&f=treesort&edition=prelim&num=0&jumpTo=true)#

Gold Star does not include Aunts/Uncles, acquaintances, neighbors, and definitely not other random psychopaths such as the following inductee into Drago’s List.

This scammer is most often known as Heather Ann Smith, she also goes by Heather Amdal, aka Heather Likout, aka Heather McDermott, aka HeatherAnne Likout, aka HeatherAnne Amdal, aka HeatherAnne McDermott, aka HeatherAnne McDermott.

There is so much on this crook that she deserves a page of her own. You can read more on this con here...

Joanna Collins - 'Operation Warriors' fundraising scam, fake Navy SEALs accounts.

Operation Warrior fundraising scam

Collins was caught using fake SEAL accounts with the Trident as her avatar on social media to gather followers. This scammer was exposed falsifying her resume, claiming to be working with SEAL organizations like UDT-SEAL Association, UDT-SEAL Museum, etc. Joanna Collins, as any of the Operation Warrior scammers, has no affiliation with the Naval Special Warfare community.

No matter how much Collins tries to convince people, she was never hired to work for any Navy SEAL organizations she claimed she worked for (e.g. UDT-SEAL Association or UDT-SEAL Museum). Collins only relinquished the NavyUDT_SEAL twitter account after she was called out by real Navy SEALs to stop using fake SEALs accounts and stop pretending to be a SEAL on Twitter.

This con attacked veteran's widows on social media when her scam was exposed (crook has already been fired from multiple veterans' charities).

David Emory Byers - small time crook, full time Conman

David Emory Byers

Beware of David Emory Byers! After reviewing the information presented, we believe him to be a dangerous Conman. Byers intentionally hangs around veterans and Special Operations personnel claiming to have a lots of friends in the community.

You may recognize his name from working at a number of Veteran owned companies such as ‘Forged Clothing’, ‘Recon Nutrition’ and ‘Frog Performance’. He has scammed many veterans for money and it is estimated that he owes people over $50,000.00 to date.

In his recent exploit, he went to the mother of his child and claimed he wanted to buy something for the child. He took a large sum of money from the mother in addition to using her credit card for himself, then left her and changed all his phone numbers.

Byers is a small time crook who did not hesitate to steal from his own child. Please pass this information on to other military veterans, especially those that have businesses. He also goes around claiming he was a Navy SEAL (Byers was never a Navy SEAL). He lives in the San Diego area and frequents Carlsbad and Solana beach.

You have been warned.

Lori Douhan aka Morrow aka Hudson - Gold Star poser, 'Operation Warriors' fundraising scam.

Gold Star poser - Operation Warrior scam

‘Jihadi momma’ – Lori Douhan, a Gold Star poser exposed impersonating Gold Star Wife (sometimes Mom) is the founder of fundraising scam ‘Operation Warriors’. She is also known among veterans as 'Jihadi Momma' after she started collecting jihadi followers on her social media accounts while posting Navy SEALs whereabouts and their personal information with addresses on those accounts.

Over 3 years of documentation of the stalking, harassment, and scamming by the fundraising frauds of Operation Warriors. Let’s not forget Douhan admitting her, and her fellow scammers of Operation Warriors did indeed contact other military organizations with coordinated harassment ...read more

And the real disgust is using ‘Gold Star family’ member title to solicit money and support when Lori Douhan/Morrow/Hudson/MeLinda is NOT a Gold Star family member. For those confused, the title Gold Star family member is not an arbitrary term.
10 USC 1126: Gold star lapel button: eligibility and distribution- General Military Law: http://uscode.house.gov/view.xhtml?req=(granuleid:USC-prelim-title10-section1126)&f=treesort&edition=prelim&num=0&jumpTo=true)#

There is no such thing as Gold Star neighbor, Gold Star aunt, Gold Star grand cousin, or Gold Star friend. The term does not exist, other than attached to Lori Douhan, Gold Star poser. This is the equivalent of Stolen Valor and should not be accepted or tolerated by anyone.

New Donna Sullivan - fundraising scam

Operation Warrior fundraising scam

Fundraising Scammers strike another Gold Star Family. Donna Sullivan targeted the mother of a fallen US Navy SEAL. Donna Sullivan built trust with false promises of promoting and fundraising for this Gold Star family’s small memorial organization … Sound familiar (Operation Warriors scam)?

Donna Sullivan jumped at the opportunity to exploit the Gold Star Mom with the promise of a successful fundraiser. Third Party Fundraising scam… Sound Familiar (Operation Warriors scam)?

There was the promise of a car for a raffle; however, Donna Sullivan never had the car nor had she completed any required paperwork to legally hold the fundraising event… Sound Familiar (Operation Warriors scam)?

When Donna Sullivan was caught, she insulted those who publicized her nefarious work, proclaimed her innocence, and promised that she would share the truth soon with a public statement…. Sound familiar (Operation Warriors scam)?

These crooks, thieves, and scammers get away with hurting our families hit by tragedy only when we remain silent. The best way to combat these low life parasites is to speak loudly and show these families that we are standing with the FAMILIES and NOT the parasitic crooks.

Donald William Zub - Small scale fundrising campains to support his own habits.

Donald William Zub

Donald William Zub, used his Navy SEAL past to swindle people out of the money. Zub likes to borrow money that are almost never returned. We received numerous complaints that the money they loaned to this former Navy SEAL are not being returned. Zub also embarked on small time fundraising campaigns, e.g. fundraising to buy a beer for SEALs returning from deployments. He attempted to run multiple fundraisers including one for his dog TripTrip that was run over when Zub was asleep for 'various’ reasons. Fundraiser collected large sum of money, but it was intercepted and account taken over by Navy SEALs who ensured that all the money were used to cover the veterinarian bill.

Be careful when loaning him money, or drinking with him in the bar... you may be stuck with the bill.
